Founder President Mir Sahed Ali Hands Over Presidency to Ayesha Chowdhury

On a momentous occasion for GYDC Bangladesh, Founder President Mir Sahed Ali formally handed over his presidential duties to the newly elected President, Ms. Ayesha Chowdhury, during a ceremonial event conducted on May 13, 2025.

The leadership transition was officially conducted by Mr. Shohag Mohagon, International Secretary of GYDC International, in the presence of members, guests, and well-wishers. In a heartfelt and symbolic moment, the Presidential Chain was passed from the Founder President to the new President, symbolizing the organization’s continued journey with a new vision and fresh leadership.

Alongside this transition, Mr. Sazzad was announced as the new Chapter Secretary of GYDC Bangladesh, reflecting the organization’s commitment to structured growth and inclusive governance.

In his remarks, Mr. Mir Sahed Ali shared his gratitude for the incredible journey of GYDC Bangladesh since its founding and expressed his full confidence in the capabilities and vision of the new leadership. “It is a proud moment to see the next generation take charge. I believe Ayesha Chowdhury and her team will lead with dedication and integrity,” he stated.

New President Ayesha Chowdhury expressed her appreciation to the members and her predecessor, vowing to uphold the values and mission of GYDC. “This is not just a new role but a new responsibility—to serve, to inspire, and to elevate youth voices nationally and globally,” she said.
